Behind A.P. Retirement

Hi, I’m Aaron Payne, founder of A.P. Retirement.

As a former State of Tennessee employee and MTSU graduate, I understand how confusing retirement planning can feel for educators, public employees, and families preparing for the future.

My focus is helping individuals better understand Tennessee ORP accounts, TCRS pensions, Social Security, and retirement income strategies designed to support long-term financial confidence.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University and later completed my MBA through Trevecca Nazarene University. I also returned to MTSU to complete upper-division accounting coursework while pursuing the CPA exam.

At A.P. Retirement, I believe retirement planning should be educational, personal, and pressure-free. My goal is to help clients make informed decisions with greater clarity and confidence.
